Sanctuary Cove
The area has matured since those heady days when flamboyant and imaginative developer Mike Gore persuaded megastars Frank Sinatra and Whitney Houston to open his international resort in 1988.
Built on the northern end of the Gold Coast tourist strip, Sanctuary Cove embraces a world-class marina, a quaint Marine Village, five-star resort hotel, an array of restaurants offering a wide choice of cuisine and two, 18-hole golf courses. Street theatre and entertainment enlivens Sanctuary Cove on the weekends.
Sanctuary Cove has direct access to the Coomera River and the Broadwater - a protected sweep of turquoise, safe boating water which stretches from Southport on the Gold Coast to Moreton Bay and Brisbane.
